CSUN students will give dramatic readings.

Guest author Alex Gino will read from George, a book about a transgender child. According to the American Library Association, this book was one of the top 10 books to be censored, banned, or challenged in the past year.

Elizabeth Blakey, J.D., Ph.D., CSUN Assistant Professor of Journalism and First Amendment scholar will speak about book censorship in the digital era.

Copies of the book will be available for signing by cash or check at event for $18.56 (includes tax).
