Online

Banned Books Week celebrates our freedom to choose what we read and draws attention to the harms of censorship. The University Library and the CSUN Department of Journalism invite you to the Ninth Annual Banned Books Readout, featuring guest speaker James Tager, Research Director of PEN America, who will speak on "Book Banning in America's Schools, Libraries and Prisons." CSUN students from Professor Elizabeth Blakey's Journalism 400 - Media Law & Ethics class will read aloud from censored books.
