Dr. Josh Sides is Professor of History and author of L.A. City Limits: African American Los Angeles from the Great Depression to the Present.
In his talk, Dr. Sides will explain how South Central Los Angeles became the center of black Los Angeles during much of the twentieth century, and how the recent Latin Americanization of South Central portends even great regional demographic shifts.
