We are thrilled to announce a special event inside the University Library that combines the magic of cinema with a milestone celebration. Please join us for the premiere of our short film followed by an open house to commemorate the 10th anniversary of our beloved department the Creative Maker Studio.

'A Decade of Creativity'

In celebration of the Creative Maker Studio’s 10th anniversary, we present to you our short film ‘A Decade of Creativity’ which chronicles the department’s journey, highlights its achievements, and recounts heartfelt testimonials from frequent users consisting of CSUN alumni and current students. Watch as we recount the story of the CMS from its humble beginnings to its current status as a hub for innovation, experimentation, and creativity. Through a blend of archival footage and interviews, this film paints a vivid picture of our evolution and impact over the past ten years.
Join us at the premiere to hear the story of our remarkable journey and to celebrate the people who have made it all possible. Enjoy light food and refreshments and take the opportunity to network with campus partners, alumni, and fellow makers.

After the screening, make your way up to the Creative Maker Studio area for an interactive open house where you can explore the CMS facilities, learn about our services, meet the team, and network with creators alike. Pick up some freebies (while supplies last) and discover the full potential of what students can achieve inside our makerspace.
