Roy Tennant: Creating the Future Library

All CSUN faculty and staff are invited to a presentation by internationally known speaker and writer on library and information technology issues, Roy Tennant. He is coming to the Oviatt Library to speak about “Creating the Future Library” The focus of Roy Tennant’s professional work is improving the technological infrastructure of libraries, museums, and archives. He is now serving as the Senior Program Officer for OCLC, the world’s largest library cooperative. Prior to joining OCLC in 2007, he worked for the University of California for over 20 years, first at UC Berkeley, then the California Digital Library. His experiences at the University of California included managing the process for UC Berkeley libraries to automate circulation, establishing the first Digital Library SunSITE, and launching the eScholarship Repository and eScholarship Editions for the California Digital Library.
