The Rifkind Center concentrates on the arts in Germany for the period 1870-1945, with special focus on German Expressionist prints.

Collection may be used when library is open and appointments are necessary. As a county facility, LACMA's library is open to the public by appointment. The Rifkind Center is a bit more restrictive, but anyone with a legitimate scholarly interest in the topics in the collection may make an appointment to visit the collection.
