Description
Standard research-library collection; various German materials in Special Collections including Winder McConnell's book collection on the Waffen-SS.

It includes books, serials, pamphlets, and brochures with a few CDs, videotapes and photographs. The SS assigned to concentration camps have been the focus of many studies; this collection gathers together books and serials specifically relating to the fighting units of the SS. These units were considered by their former adversaries to be formidable opponents. Included are officer lists, unit histories, works by former SS and Waffen-SS, and journals and newsletters of Waffen-SS veterans groups.
