Music and Media has an extensive collection of DVD, Blu-Ray, Audio CDs, and LPs available to check out or use within the department. To search for a particular title, use OneSearch and limit by material type.

Scope of the Collection

The Instructional Media Collection contains DVDs to support classroom instruction and leisure use. Programs range from historical documentaries to math instruction and from Shakespeare productions to classic and contemporary movies and TV shows. Programs can be enjoyed at home or viewed at the Viewing and Listening Stations.

Student Viewing

Students may use DVD, Blu-Ray, Audio CD and LP materials at the Viewing and Listening Stations located in TCC/Music & Media or check out for home use.

The library has recently acquired 2 Victrola portable record players that may be checked out by CSUN faculty, students, and staff. The record players have a 2-week checkout period. All patrons must sign an Electronic Loan Agreement form before checking out record players or other equipment from Music & Media. Save time and fill out the Equipment Loan Agreement Form electronically on AdobeSign before coming in.
