On June 18, 2025, the CSUN Alumni Association and the University Library welcomed alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the University to a special reception unveiling the inaugural installation of the University Library Portico Commemorative Pavers. The paver campaign is raising funds to support Alumni Association student scholarships and the University Library, ensuring that future generations of Matadors have access to life-changing educational opportunities.
The new pavers, located on the Library Portico, feature personalized messages and dedications from members of the CSUN community. Each engraved paver tells a story—whether honoring a graduate, commemorating a milestone, or celebrating the enduring impact of CSUN. Together, they create a permanent legacy of pride, inspiration, and philanthropy.
Special thanks to our first 25 paver supporters, who took advantage of premier placement, at the front and center of the Library.
Visitors are encouraged to take a walk onto the Library Portico to see these inspiring messages firsthand and reflect on the generosity and spirit of the CSUN family. Photos from the unveiling event can be viewed at the Alumni Association Flickr album.
