In January 2019, the Oviatt Library Map Collection was relocated from Sierra Hall to the newly renovated and former site of the Teacher Curriculum Center, in room OV 26, on the Garden Level of the Oviatt Library. The Map Collection provides preservation and access for thousands of flat maps, atlases and reference materials, study and consultation space, as well as a public GIS workstation.

In celebration of the move and renovation, you are cordially invited to a grand opening event on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 3:00pm to 5:00pm, in the Map Collection’s new home in OV26. Light refreshments will be served.

The Map Collection can be accessed from the main floor of the Library, via the stairs or elevator located near the north windows of the Learning Commons.

Please RSVP below or call (818) 677-2638. Please also check out our GIS Day Event: Mapping the News
