A brown bag lunch and book signing, featuring Julieanna Hever, M.S., R.D., C.P.T.

Join us as we welcome Julieanna back to the CSUN campus to share her expertise on plant-based nutrition and tips for healthy living. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Oviatt Library, the College of Health and Human Development, and the Marilyn Magaram Center.

About Julieanna

Julieanna Hever, also known as “The Plant-Based Dietitian” is an accomplished CSUN alumna, who is bridging her three biggest passions for food, performing, and helping people. She earned a Master of Science in Nutrition at CSUN, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. As a Registered Dietitian, Julieanna has authored four books, including the brand new Plant-Based Nutrition (Idiots Guide) 2E, and two peer-reviewed journal articles on plant-based nutrition for healthcare professionals, and is the nutrition columnist for VegNews Magazine.

Julieanna’s passion is sharing all things nutrition and food around the world by speaking, presenting, and helping a wide variety of clients achieve their goals. She has been featured on The Dr. Oz Show, The Steve Harvey Show, Reluctantly Healthy, The Marie Osmond Show, The Jane Velez-Mitchell Show, and E! News. New adventures include acting as a Co-Founder and Nutrition Director for a lifestyle transformation company, co-hosting Home Sweat Home on Facebook Watch, and traveling the globe to share her passion for healing and happiness eating a whole food, plant-based diet.

Past projects have included being the host of What Would Julieanna Do?; giving a TEDx talk; co-starring on The Chef and The Dietitian; and teaching the eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certification Program.

Copies of Julieanna’s book will be available for purchase for $19.95 and the author will be signing at the event.
