Join us for this panel discussion hosted in collaboration with California School Library Association, Southern Region, Section 2. We welcome members of CSLA and LASLA and other teacher librarians or library staff in Los Angeles area to attend. Lunch will be provided.

Schedule

• 12:30pm to 1:00pm - Meet and Greet Lunch
• 1:00pm to 2:15pm - Presentations and Discussions
  • Preparing students for college research and instructor expectations, facilitated by CSUN Librarians Brianna Limas, Jamie Johnson, and Lisa Cheby
  • Research as Storytelling: What stories do we want to tell about school libraries?, With a guest presentation by Teacher Librarian Cassandra Jones
• 2:15pm to 2:30pm - Closing questions / sharing contacts / event evaluation
• 2:30pm to 2:45pm - Tour of Teacher Curriculum Center
