We welcome members of CSLA and LASLA and other teacher librarians or library staff in Los Angeles area to attend. Lunch will be provided.

Schedule

  • 12:30pm to 1:00pm - Meet and Greet Lunch
  • 1:00pm to 2:15pm - Presentations and Discussions
    • Preparing students for college research and instructor expectations, facilitated by CSUN Librarians Brianna Limas, Jamie Johnson, and Lisa Cheby
    • Research as Storytelling: What stories do we want to tell about school libraries?, With a guest presentation by Teacher Librarian Cassandra Jones
  • 2:15pm to 2:30pm - Closing questions / sharing contacts / event evaluation
  • 2:30pm to 2:45pm - Tour of Teacher Curriculum Center
