CSUN’s University Library is the jewel in the crown of the campus, renowned for its innovative learning spaces such as the Creative Maker Studio, the Teacher Curriculum Center, and the Learning Commons.  We are proud of our aesthetically pleasing and contemplative Gohstand Reading Room, as well as our dynamic, diverse and unique archival collections such as the Bradley Center photographic archives, the International Guitar Research Archives and the Bullough Archives on Sex and Gender.

The Creative Maker Studio (CMS) is an exploratory space where students of any major can have access to hands-on multimedia design and production tools at no extra cost!

As the University Library's official Makerspace, the CMS provides all currently enrolled CSUN students with the resources and support needed for learning new technologies, prototyping, collaboration, and digital creation/modeling/editing. Experimentation is encouraged and students are able to learn from their failures without penalty.

Matadors, this is your space to create.

Library Technology Service (LTS) is located within the core of the Learning Commons on the main floor of the University Library. Situated next to the CSUN IT Help Desk, LTS is a support hub for all library technology. The service desk also offers resources at no extra cost to help CSUN students, staff, and faculty have access to devices and technology to foster the development of the twenty-first century student and scholar.
