Remnants of Resistance: Paying More Attention to Bisexuality

As part of the One Institute's Circa Queer Histories Festival, CSUN's University
Library and Queer Studies Program have partnered to produce a second season
of the Remnants of Resistance podcast. Episodes feature interviews with CSUN
faculty, and will delve into unique and hidden queer stories uncovered by their
research.

Join Heidi Schumacher and Ellen Jarosz as they interview Dr. Adrian Valadez about her recent
article “Bisexuals’ Implicit Associations about Bisexuality: Measurement Design and
Development.”

About the Guest

Dr. Adrian M. Valadez (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Cultural Clinical Psychology at California State University Northridge and the Principal Investigator of the Queer and Trans Psychological Inclusion y Equidad (QTPIE) Lab. Dr. Valadez's research focuses on the mental health of diverse LGBTQ+ communities, with particular attention dedicated to understanding the role of internalized stigma on mental health disparities and the development of inclusive interventions for minoritized populations.
