Please make all requests at least four weeks in advance of the time of need. Turnaround time is very dependent on vendor response. Note that the four week turnaround is a guideline, not a guarantee.
The University Library supports the curriculum by providing film content for faculty instruction. We will make every attempt to provide requested film content in streaming format to allow maximum flexibility.
Physical DVDs and Blu Rays may be requested using the Online Reserve Request Form. Please select Music and Media as the processing department. DVDs/Blu Rays are not able to be accessed remotely.
Please complete each question to the extent that you can. The more information, the better. All faculty requests for audiovisual content in support of teaching are honored whenever possible. We do not accept student requests for films.
The Library is unable to digitize physical media for your use; please work with your subject specialist librarian to identify alternative titles or platforms. Additionally, consumer platforms (Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Prime Video, Criterion Channel, Vimeo, etc.) will NOT sell to libraries and we are not able to purchase or rent any titles or subscriptions from them.
